I was recently able to buy a pressure cooker on an amazing sale! This isn’t an item I would have normally thought necessary or really for me but my mind was changed when I realized that I would never come across such a great deal again. So, I used my Green Pan pressure cooker tonight when I made teryiaki chicken and rice and it was a great success! Click HERE to learn more about this amazing convenience.
Now I didn’t cook the whole meal in my pressure cooker. Part of it went into the crock pot this morning to cook during the day. And then about an hour before my husband was to arrive home from work, I realized that I needed to make rice to go along with the teryaki chicken. I use brown rice for everything because it is healthier than white, but that is sometimes unfortunate because it takes twice as long to cook.
So I pulled out my pressure cooker that boasts of cooking rice in 12 minutes! And let me say, it was a great success! It took about 15 minutes in all for the rice to be completely done. I saved time and money because I wasn’t heating the stove for an hour. I just put it on to cook and didn’t have to worry about it. I’m glad I bought this pressure cooker!
