Amber Hash blogs over at The Vanity Room. Her passion for interior designing led her to begin her blog which is all about interior designing! Check out her blog for some great interior decorating tips, enjoy her post here all about bathroom decor and see her bio at the end!
The bathroom tends to be a purely practical and functional room: no-one spends time in the bathroom for fun or leisure (those long, bubble-baths are a necessity not an indulgence!) However, this does not mean that bathroom décor should be ignored or skimped. Despite the fact that bathrooms are usually small rooms, packed with toiletries, cosmetics and other ablutionary aids, it is possible to have a beautiful and elegant, yet practical bathroom!
Use as much space as possible.
Make small spaces feel larger.
Give your bathroom personality.
– this will let you see how the room will look once the paper is pasted in place, allowing you to change your mind if necessary. Coordinate the rest of the bathroom by picking out one or two colours from the wallpaper for the pipework and small panels and pieces of woodwork.
Coordinate your colors.
Install new fixtures.
live with the results for a long time! Hopefully though, you will be able to remake your bathroom for much less, and will soon be splashing serenely in style in your ideal bathroom.
